Where the idea came from
In the previous blog post (you can read it here), I discussed the movie "What the bleep do we know!?...
... that introduces the experiment on water molecules conducted by Masaru Emoto (1943-2014). As I wrote, the scientific community treats Emoto's experiment with reservations, due to its lack of reproduction and the unclear circumstances of the experiment (see previous blog post), on the basis of which doubts can really arise about whether an inscription has an effect on a glass of water, as well as the water molecules in the glass. Regardless, it seriously made me think about how the spoken and/or written words affect us: our body, our soul, our feelings, our emotions, our thoughts, and thus our current and future lives.
It cannot be disputed that words - spoken or written - evoke feelings/emotions in us, which awaken thoughts in us. Thoughts can manifest in words and actions, and actions define our lives. If we are in a positive, inspiring environment, where we receive words of encouragement, motivation, and praise, it clearly has a positive effect on our feelings, self-esteem, thoughts about ourselves, and self-image. These positive words can be either spoken or written (e.g. a photo brought from home on our desk at work of our child with the inscription "You are the best Mom!" (or Dad)), which can provide us with joyful feelings in moments. The same can be experienced when our boss and colleagues turn to us with recognition and thanks. Positive manifestations, positive messages and signs undoubtedly create positive feelings in us, this can be clearly stated.
So why shouldn't we strive to surround ourselves with as many inspiring and motivating thoughts as possible that help us overcome everyday difficulties? Why not condition ourselves for positive feelings? We come into contact with so much negative information and news every day that we have to do something so that positive vibrations predominate in our lives. Unfortunately, it is not enough to wake up in the morning and decide that "Today will be a good day!". The many negative vibrations that hit our minds during the day and are deposited as a thick layer on the field of our thoughts cannot be neutralized with just one positive thought. For this, it is necessary that positive vibrations continuously reach us during the day.
Keeping in mind the above thoughts, we dreamed and created the Walking Sage products. Every Walking Sage product has an inspirational and motivational quote of your choice, which you can wear all day, remembering its positive message. For example, it fills me with enormous energy when I put on my Walking Sage t-shirt with the following quote: “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” (Henry David Thoreau). Just being aware of what quote is on my t-shirt gives me strength to overcome the difficulties that arise during the day. No doubt, you can really feel the power of thoughts.
